I did not go to plants last time, but not sure about the next time. obviously this guy only stay in India once with limited time, and the following points I wanna shared with you guys:
1. The old fashion cars he saw, i guess that is TATA, the biggest Trust in India, I do not think that company is state-owned. The owner of TATA is one of richest people in India. BTW, in an interview in CNBC, I saw a senior management officer for Benze, actually, he is an Indian. I hardly see Chinese become senior management of multinational company, to be honest.
2. The Indian people shake heads when they say yes, but the definite the deferent way from the shaking heads when Chinese say no. So, no way to messy up when you communicate with them.
3. I admire this guy who had courage to have lunch in catering in plant, basically the rules for our colleagues and me is never ever try the catering in plant, because that will let you down definitely.
4. Maybe I was not dealing with plant people, did not meet so many smelly people there. Sari, the clothing Indian woman wearing normally is beautiful only for the good body shape, definitely i think some Indian women, they did not realize that.
5. Same as China, it is more easier to find bars, store, restaurants in big city than small ones. This guys need some local people to give him some hints on that. I think the same in China. In Delhi, we went to a modern shopping mall for lunch sometimes, Pizza Hut, Friday and McDonalds all there, you even can find some very decent Chinese restaurant. By the way, the Best Chinese Restaurant I went outside of China is actually in Delhi, the name is 'China Club'. Every decent place, like 'South Beauty' branch close to Parkson in Beijing. The service is great!
6. I do not agree with this guy about the talents of Indians. They are not stupid, their colonial language advantage over china will last at least 10 years. I met an American in Athens, he is a senior manager in HQ of KPMG consulting firm in Washington. What he told me about their business in China is like this: they had a project in China, they realized the local people are very smart, but two problems they faced are 1) limited English communication skill, like speaking skill, it is very hard to solve problem during the conference call, 2) high rotation of stuffing, they try to train their local Chinese people, and finalized they realized the qualified people normally can easily change job because the job market is really hungry about the English speaker.
7. For driving skill, to be honestly, it is very easy to get cheap professional diver in India, so if you are decent people or middle class, you do not need to drive by yourself. I think it is the same in China, especially in Beijing. So far, i have the worst reputation of driving in our department, part of reason is I can easily get the cheap taxi, how come i need to get driving skill improved. If you compare us with middle class in US, we are lucky than them, because we can easily get the cheap labor than them. They have to drive well because they hardly afford the taxi or private driver in their country. I do not drive in India, Africa, even in Russia because we have 24 hours private driver, but i have to do that in Europe and US because driving service and taxi is so expensive. What I heard in Japan, we could not even take taxi from airport to hotel, because that will cost more than 1000USD one way, company will not pay for that.
8. It is no doubt it very easy to see the slam in India, that was horrible. In China, we at least painted the outside walls of slam to beautify, didn't we? I do not see any points to make chinese happier, to be honest.

On overall basis, if you wanna business travel to country like India or Africa, no difference the business travel to Charlco Guizhou and Shanxi Antai. For me, the worst place i visited in my career is 'Little Jindu' on Shenyang DBD project. But we still can visit Huangguoshu Falls and 'Sanhao' VCD market, isn't it? The point is whether you can see more positive sides than negative sides, and make the positive stuff archived in your person experience.
I know there is a lot of discussion around, which country is better, china or India, I have no comments on this questions, but i would like to put the following thought as below based on my personal experience, and I think that is more worth discussion among Chinese:
1. Both China and India have long long history, and that make the people in both country are very tricky. like the hotel deal the guy met in Chennai, hehe... in BeiHai Park, don't we need to pay the entry tickets again again and again? hehe... If you pay the same caution in India as you in china, your trip will be the same happy.
2. India have significant problem in there social structure, no stable middle class, most people are poor and uneducated. But since this is basically religious country, the country is stable. China is developing very fast, the gap between the rich and the poor are widening, and most Chinese, they are basically 'Freethinker'(the people who believe nothing but money and themselves'), that is a potential threat to the economy and stability of country. The same situation in Russia now, that is why Putin visited Cathedral sometimes. I hardly see the further development chance for China if we Chinese will do nothing to change.
3. India people have never ever experience 'real revolution' like china experienced from 1840's to 1970's, basically they did not have chance get harder lessons from their own history as China did , and their traditional thought have never ever been released that much as Chinese. From this point, I would say China would exceed India very soon if India were better than China, because the change of people's thought is the key driver to a country's development.
4. The situation in the world now is US culture leads the trend, that is the fact, if you wanna play the game, the language is very important. From this perspective, India has advantage without any doubt. Actually, the outsourcing service in India like Customer service and Legal service support, IT support is very successful in India. Most of western people they are mad at that, but they can not change because Indian labor is cheaper and with equivalent quality. I do not mean the Chinese should follow Indians, what i wanna say is Indian people, they are not stupid, each national has their way to survive in this 'international community'. Since we realized, we Chinese wanna to be part of international game, we need to figure out a way to survive too. If US people can make money in India, why we can not? 200 or 300 years ago, European send the people to new continents for punishment with 'May Flower', and 200 years later now, r they regretting about that since those excelled people are basically leading the world trend now. How big this joke it is, only European themselves know that.
Finally, for the comments on the subject of this email, hehe.. I say i would like to send smarter and potential leader to India to learn something, not like this fool to see bad sides to comfort his 'A Q' thought. Forward my email to this guy if possible, i would like to meet him in India again. Come on, the proud sense of our country should not be built like this way.
Cheers,

The article I received from friend is as following:

One Figure Skating in Winter Olympic 2006

I can not help writing down something after I turned off my TV 1am in my hotel room in Moscow last night. One Olympic Figure Skating game gave me so much enjoyment!.
As usual, I came back to my hotel at 10pm, and turned on the TV, they were broadcasting the Figure Skating Final for Free Skating pairs in Winter Olympic 2006 of Turino. I am a fans of Figure Skating because it will be not a game but an art presentation if a perfect combination of Difficulty, Strength and Art Dance can be achieved.

As usual, Russian team monopoly the top positions But to my surprise, Chinese have 3 pairs appears in the Final game, and one of them rank at 2nd after the Short Program. Finally, after Russian top tier gave a perfect presentation which is too good to be better, the last Chinese pair (Zhang&Zhang)came out to finalize the whole. Unfortunately, in the first move, the girl was thrown by the boy too hard to be land firmly, and she fell on the ground heavily. She stood up and she hardly moved after that. I regretted for them because they had the biggest chance to challenge Russian's monopoly of Gold Medal. Anyway, the other two Chinese pairs were already sitting on the silver and brozon position at that time. However, one thing kept me from turn off the TV is that fallen Chinese girl did not leave the game ground and keep skating around again and again. Finally they complete the presentation, and judges gave them silver medal. You may say this silver medal came from emotions, but i would say that came from the recognition of determination of the players. 'Never Give Up', the spirit of Olympics, isn't it? Sport is attractive to people not only because players plays well, but also because it always gives us a surprise and opportunity. Like very time you open the master piece, you always can find some story striking your heart.

I know my writing looks like a naive homework from primary school kids, but I would say I never feel such proud of my country in my life. Chinese team, I am cheering for you, and i am proud of you!

Home town trip before the Chinese New Year

Thanks for Russia Federation, and I got a chance to go back to my small hometown (Bejing) before the Chinese New Year...

Picture 1: My batch in PwC and Me, hehe... let's use this one for 2006 version and added to our collection abulm, it is a pity that 'Xiao Ma Ge', 'Dan dan' and 'Little Hu' could not make it. What a shame, the Chinese guys.... I tried to run away, and entered the king troop camp, a beautiful and neat place without people track, and final I realized all the officers and solders are hiding somewhere, hehe... In Tivoli park, I have a wonderful Chinese food. Most weird thing, I met a Chinese girl, although I did not know her name, we had good time there. We found a statue in a big royal garden, and took pictures there, and finally we realized that the statue we were with are Anderson, the famous the Tales Writer.

In Dublin, I walked a long way to Guinness museum, hehe... Enrique should not have chance to joke me anymore, hehe... I were Dublin, and I visited the Highlights here, like Guiness....

In London, I met Lei Jiang, my old university classmate, kind of missing social life in Beijing now. Walking through all the Bond Street, did not get the chance to find the things I wanna buy, Sucks! Like that song sang 'she is a window shopper' :P

Another rainy day, I had to go to movie theater for fun. 'Broken Flower', a nice funny story, a guy revisited his 4 ex-girlfriends with flower and tried to figured who is the 'Pink Lady' claiming she had a baby with him 20 years ago, and his son is coming to him very soon. In the end, all flowers are broken, no answer, no solution, the guy was standing on the cross of roads without knowing what happened, happen and will happen, hehe... What is the sense of his life? He is free from boring family stuff, and also free of happiness and fulfillment from that. Freedom may give you more pain than binding. Deeply sad movie!!!!

Weekend in Prague Nov, 2005

I went to Prague this weekend. So many things happened, but I wanna shared with you guys... Ready? Let's go!

Picture 1 Cheapest Place I stayed: The hostel only about 25 Euro for two nights. For this cheap price, Alex wrote a CAD Trivia for record. Ok, I am the auditor who firstly stayed in Youth Hostel after 30. As Chinese Saying said, it will never be late as long as you has made up :P . I never ever imagined that the cheapest hotel I stayed is in Prague when I travel with CAD. However, the place is nice and even safer than some 5 star hotel I stayed before. Relaxed and just put the trust on people you met, nice feeling I ever had.... Ok, here you are, a spot check my shared room:

Picture 2: One large Limo on the street triggered a plan for little Han's Gang to plan a 'limo' patrolling in London during the New Eve(or Christmas? Eating popcorn, smiling silly... Blah blah... feeling like settle down. The movie named Corpse Bride, and the stroy is like a combination of The Phanton of the Opera and The Woman in White. The dancing of Skull has the black humor from The Adams. Alright, the movie industry is just reproduction of 'classical' stuff, nothing else. I was a very 'desperate settler'. :P

Anyway, sitting in the coffee shop at the left bank of la Seine, reading a book about wolves story in Mongolian Grassland, bathing the sunlight in early winter... what kind of life I could expected then? I was a very 'desperately lucky girl there... Paris, nice to see you again!

Weekend in London Oct, 2005

I went to London for weekend on Thursday, Oct 27th, 2005. Thanks for the Belgium's national strike. I got extra one day in London...

On Friday, since Little Han was not available, Perlita and I did a 'walk through' testing on Bond Street, Oxford Circles, Charing Cross, China Town, Trafargal Square, St. James Park and Buckinghem Place. Some 'Issues' were noted, such as a Chinese Resteraunt which providing good Japanese food, Two Indian Movie Stars who performing hot kiss in Trafargal Square, Squaralls who collecting food for winter in St. James Park. Final audit report were prepared in Starbucks closed to Buckinghem Palace. The opinion is clean, and the risk were all mitigated:P

On Saturday, Little Han and I went to see the 'Woman In White', long long story still make us not miss the preparation of dinner. Finally, my poor cutting skill was tartooed on the big blocked potatoes, although I tried to put Chen Xin's Franchise on that.

One Sunday, Little Han and I went to the Cambridge, the little town full of Colleges which reuqired entrance fees for visitors. The weather is not typical British, shining, clear and warm.
